December 2005 - Our season has officially begun. Sign up soon to schedule a
holiday kiteboarding lesson, spots are filling up fast! Gift certificates are
available for all levels of kiteboarding through our website or by calling

June 2005 - The guaranteed fastest way to progress. East Coast
Kiteboarding is offering the first supervised downwind runs to help beginner
kiteboarders practice their skills and maximize their time on the water. Say
goodbye to walking back upwind, we'll coach you along the way and have a
pickup vehicle with refreshments at the end. ECK downwinders are a great
way to meet new kiteboarders at your skill level and develop your all around
riding skills. Check out Kiteboarding Downwinders for more info.

April 2005 - We had a week of cranking north winds from a subtropical low off
North Carolina. The low sent huge swells along the east coast for some great
big wave riding downwinders. The low moved further off into the Atlantic leaving
the Islamorada competition with a mere gentle sea breeze. All in all, April was a
great month for wind down here, making up for the March doldrums.

kiteboarding lessons. Now your instructor will have constant communication with you

January 2005 -A benefit party for local Crandon Park kiteboarder, Claudio, (who
was injured New Year's eve by freak gusts), was held last Saturday. The
kiteboarding community came together from around the globe in support of
Claudio and raised more than $15,000 to help the family with medical
expenses. Check out the Florida Kiteboarding Association for donation
information and a list of sponsors.
The 2nd annual Jupiter Invasion kiteboarding competition took place January
28-30. They had some good winds on Friday and a few good hours of wind on
Saturday for the events. Lots of good wave riding in some heavy shore break.
North kites were also out on the beach running a demo of the new 2005 North
Vegas 12 meter and 5th element bar system. For more reviews and
information on the new North kites and boards check back soon.
